Terms of Service and EULA

Welcome to Faround! These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms", "EULA", or "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Faround ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Faround mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, registering, or using Faround, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not install or use the Service.

1. Eligibility & age restrictions (strictly 18+)

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account and use Faround.

Zero Tolerance for Underage Users: Faround is strictly intended for adult dating and social interactions. By registering, you warrant and represent that you are at least 18 years old.

If we receive notice or have reason to believe that a user is under 18 years of age, we will immediately terminate and delete the account and all associated data without prior notice.

2. Account registration and security

Authentication: Account creation is available exclusively via authorized third-party OAuth providers (e.g., Google Sign-In, Apple ID). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your third-party account credentials.

One Account Per Person: You may register only one (1) account per email address. Creating multiple accounts or using fake credentials to bypass blocks or bans is strictly prohibited.

Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate registration details (e.g., age, selected country, and city). You may not impersonate any person or entity.

3. User-generated content (UGC) & community standards

Faround allows users to create profiles, upload up to six (6) photographs, write bio descriptions, select preferences/kinks, and engage in text-based chats with matched users.

A. Zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, illegal, or objectionable content. You agree that you will NOT upload, post, transmit, or share content that:

Contains explicit sexual nudity, full nudity, visible genitalia, or pornographic imagery in publicly visible profile photos.
Promotes, offers, or solicits prostitution, escort services, commercial sex work, or illegal adult services.
Contains hate speech, discrimination, harassment, threats, stalking, or incitement to violence against any individual or group.
Promotes financial scams, fraud, cryptocurrency schemes, commercial advertising, or unauthorized links/solicitations.
Infringes on any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.

B. Profile photo moderation

All uploaded profile photographs are processed through automated moderation systems (including cloud-based vision recognition software). Photos flagged as containing explicit adult content or full nudity will be automatically rejected prior to publication.

C. Text-only chat rule

Messaging within Faround is restricted to text-only communication. The transmission of images, media files, or attachments within direct user chats is disabled by design to protect user privacy and prevent harassment.

4. Reporting and blocking abusive users

To ensure a safe environment, Faround provides built-in safety tools for all users:

In-App Blocking: You may block any user at any time. Blocking immediately hides the user from your discovery feed and prevents further communication.
Reporting Mechanism: You may submit a report against any profile or message that violates these Terms via the in-app "Report" button or by emailing farounddate@gmail.com.
Enforcement: We review user reports and reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to issue warnings, hide profiles, or permanently ban accounts without refund or prior notice.

5. Code of conduct and prohibited activities

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

Harvest, scrape, or collect other users' data, photos, or personal information for commercial purposes.
Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the Faround application.
Use automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to interact with the Service or automate swipes/messages.
Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.

6. Disclaimer of warranties & offline interactions

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.

No Background Checks: FAROUND DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS, VERIFY USER IDENTITY BEYOND OAUTH AUTHENTICATION, OR VET THE BACKGROUND OF ITS USERS.

Sole Responsibility: YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS, BOTH ONLINE AND OFFLINE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT FAROUND CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR SAFETY DURING OFFLINE MEETUPS.

Safety Precautions: Always exercise extreme caution when meeting strangers in person. Meet in public places, inform a friend or family member of your whereabouts, and never share financial or sensitive information.

"As-Is" Service: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

7. Third-party services and advertising

Faround is supported by third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdMob). You acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed within the application.

The Service may contain links or integrations to third-party services (e.g., Google, Apple, Expo). We do not control or assume responsibility for any third-party content, policies, or practices.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FAROUND, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM:

YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE;
CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF OTHER USERS OR THIRD PARTIES ON OR THROUGH THE SERVICE;
UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT OR TRANSMISSIONS.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Faround and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination & account deletion

By You: You may delete your account at any time within the application settings. Account deletion will result in the permanent removal of your profile, matches, and chat history, subject to our Privacy Policy regarding abuse prevention logs.

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you breach any provision of these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to the platform or its users.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be instituted in competent courts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page or displaying an in-app notice. Your continued use of Faround following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
